Rewards

At the 16th and 17th Burgondia Competition in Saint-Père-sous-Vézelay the Tixier wines were largely rewarded, in particular the following vintages:

• Chablis 2005

• Chablis fût chêne 2005

• 1er Cru Montmains Vieille Vigne 2004

• 1er Cru Montmains Vieille Vigne 2006

The Burgondia d’Or committee, composed of professional and amateur oenophilists, meets twice a year to taste the best Burgundy wines. This competition is officially recognized by French authority (JO 27/01/96) and by the European Communities Commission (JJ 15/11/96)

In 2007 the Tixier winery won:

• 1er Cru Montmains Vieille Vigne 2006 (bronze medal in Macon)

• 1er Cru Montmains Vieille Vigne 2006 (tastevinage medal)

• Chablis fût chêne 2006 (tastevinage medal)

In 2008 the Tixier winery also won:

• 1er Cru Montmains Vieille Vigne 2006 (World Chardonnay silver medal)
