Martine Tixier and her wines

Let us present ourselves

Martine has been working at the winery since 1986. She manages and enlivens the company, she is the heart of this small family business. Her husband Momo and recently, their son, Thomas also work there.

The earth, the vineyard, the vine growing are Momo’s business. He is the one who takes care to his vinestock with affection and supervises their growth with attention. He cuts, treats, plows, and replaces stakes…

Martine watches over the wine with attentive care. She is also responsible for the sales. She travels all over France, and even abroad, to carry afar the notoriety of the vineyard and of her Chablis wines!

History

• 1986: Creation of the winery
• 1986 – 1993: Momo still works elsewhere, he just comes sometimes to the winery to help Martine
• 1994: He leaves his job and comes to work at the winery.
• They have worked together ever since.
• Four years ago Martine decided to produce her wines herself.
• Since then she has taken part in many wine competitions: Hachette Guides, Decanter review, Burgundia d’Or, Tastevinage…
• Martine Tixier also prepares orders

• 2007 is a great year ! Thomas finishes his studies and joins the winery.

Projects

• Make known the Tixier Chablis products and their first Cru Chablis both in France and abroad and develop winery sales.
